Did you ever see Cocaine Fiends? It's similar from around the same time.

I love old movies, film noir ...Humphrey Bogart and all those 'dangerous broads'. I really enjoyed Gone with the Wind too, as I had to watch it for a class.

I also occasionally like the shallow slapstick stuff like "Airplane" and "Spinal Tap".

I loved "Deliverance", as we moved to the country part-time, and I wanna practice sittin' on the porch glarin' at day trippin' kayakers.
I've yet to see "Southern Comfort", but it's on my to-see list. I like movies about odd occurrences in small towns or remote locations in da backwoods. No, it doesnt make me jumpy about where we live, not in the least.

I guess, a bit of everything really. Except chicky-flicks.

I like all kinds of movies.
My favorite has to be a REALLY GOOD sci-fi or fantasy film. Sadly such films are exceedingly rare.

Aside from those, my favorite genre is romantic comedy.

I used to like all the action movies but I'm an old fart now and for the most part those movies all seem pretty stupid nowadys - with impossible stunts and ultra-predictable scenes.

If I see one more stupid "As the hero - set on revenge for the murder of his (daughter/wife/whatever) - walks away (towards the camera) from the burning (warehouse/factory/villain's mansion/whatever) staring blankly and determinedly ahead, the (warehouse/factory/villian's mansion/whatever) violently explodes behind him, engulfing the backdrop in an enormous fireball - but somehow the hero never even flinches" type scene - I think I'll just shoot myself.

Same thing for those ultra-stupid slow-mo dodging the (bullets/swords/flying daggers) scenes (ala The Matrix).

Those scenes are sooooooooooooo overdone and soooooooooooooo stupid to begin with.
