Mine would be Peter Cellars in the Pink Panther Movies. He did his best acting in those movies. I never cared much for his earlier work until the Pink Panther came out.

How wonderful to hear that James Cagney was such a gem. I always loved his work, serious or comedic. Your description brought a huge smile to my face and I could see him dancin' before my very own eyes.

Well, don’t really have a favorite. I like Pete Sampras, but he is not really an actor. I’m not movie buff, but if I had to pick someone I guess it would be….
Reese Witherspoon
Why? I'll probably regret saying this but Reese Witherspoon reminds me of someone...
EDIT:
Had to edit this. This is just too personal. I've never told anyone in my real life anything about my personal life. I just had this horrible thought...what if a family member reads this!

Sorry to bore you with my love life…

Who said I was bored?
I like the description you give; a woman with the looks of Reece Witherspoon and a touch of Avril Lavine.
Now if I could find someone who looked like Angelina Jolie with the voice and spirit of Christina Aguilera I'd make her Mrs. Tricky D in a heartbeat.

Whoa. Nice. She'd have to have the face of Angelina Jolie with voice/spirit of Christina Aguilera. Also must have the body of Kim Kardashian or that girl in the "Fahrenheit" diet supplement commercial- Jelena Abbou.
Getting back to the OP of this thread - Favorite actor of all time? It depends on the genre, but DeNiro would definately be at the top for drama, Bruce Lee/Jet Li/Chow Yun Fat for action; and Will Ferrell/Three Stoogies for comedy.

Brandon Lee because of his depiction of The Crow was spot on.
Unfortunately he died while making that movie, which make the movie even more unique then it already is.

Mine would be Anthony Hopkins, Something about him that has a calming affect on me when I watch his movies even in his bad guy portrayals you have to like the guy, hard to describe but I guess the way the man carries him self, his expressions pull me into the movies he does.
