Mine would have to be either Daniel Day-Lewis or Robert Downey Jr. Daniel Day-Lewis gives the most intense performances I've ever seen. Downey is just incredibly versatile and has the greatest comedic timing. He was perfect in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but unfortunately he's never given the credit that he deserves.

In no particular order:
Al Pacino
Steve Zahn
Don Cheadle
Edward Norton
Robert De Niro
Benicio Del Toro
Terrence Howard
Samuel L. Jackson
Anthony Hopkins
Denzel Washington
Philip Seymour Hoffman
Hmm...I guess I don't really have any women that I'm too crazy about. Oh! Marilyn Monroe...love her. She's long gone, but hopefully she still counts.

Favorite actors of all time: Al Pacino, Paul Newman, Gene Hackman, Glen Ford and James Garner
Favorite Actresses: Lee Remick, Susan Hayward, Elizabeth Taylor, Jessica Lange, Vera Miles and Barbara Stanwyck
All of the above had real talent and versatility which seems to be in short supply today. Thank God for Turner Classic Movies and I'm only in my forties!!

A big YES! to Vera Miles, not to slight anyone else but because she was really an extraordinary, powerful actress, and we have such a pathetic handful of work from her in comparison to so many others.

My favorite actress of all time, is Geraldine Page. Her mannerisms are fascinating to me. I've seen her in movies where she is glamorous, and also movies where she plays a mean old hag. She could do anything as far as acting. She was nominated for several acadamy awards, but never won until the movie The Trip to Bountiful. A lot of people don't know about her, but if you ever become acquainted with her work, I'm sure she'll be one of your favorites too. My favorite actor, is probably Ralph Waite. He is just a darn good actor. I haven't seen him lately though, although I've heard he is regular in some soap opera. I don't watch soaps, so I'll probably never see him in that role. The best looking actor that ever lived, was Clint Walker. I like very few of today's actors. They just don't make them like they used to.
