A gritty crime drama in the vein of Training Day, The Departed,... This film follows the lives of four men, three of them law enforcers whose lives are torn apart and one of them an outlaw. This film stars Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke and Wesley Snipes.

A predictable yet gripping film. This film does manage to keep a viewers attention for its 2 hours + length. Don Cheadle gives a good performance as an undercover whose life is falling apart before his eyes. Ethan Hawke plays a cop who resorts to desperate measures to support his family. Wesley Snipes plays an outlaw who is most wanted. Richard Gere, plays a cop who is retiring, burnt out, battle weary, misunderstood, he stays out of petty offenses but when it comes to something very important he takes care of business.

Other stars include Will Patton as Don Cheadle's superiors. There are some other Antoine Fuqua's regulars that appear throughout the film in minor roles. This film involves many subplots that play out similar in style to crash. The concept is a cross between "Training Day" and "The Departed."

Overall I enjoyed the film and it left quite an impression on me as I stay well into the end credits.
