1970's made for TV movie: A teenage boy has a crush on a girl. He knocks her off her bike and accidentally kills her. He hides the body and runs home to Mom who tells him to build a wall that will hide a room under the stairs where he can live undetected. His mother then dies and the house is sold with him still in hiding. A new family with a teenage daughter moves in. He becomes obsessed with the daughter and this leads to him to getting caught.

This definitely was Bad Ronald, which was originally aired on ABC's Movie Of The Week on Tuesday night. Scott Jacoby played Ronald. Kim Hunter was his mother.

Another rarity in this Bad Ronald genre is Crawlspace (1972).
Also directed by Buzz Kulik.

Hard to find but quite good for a low-budget TV movie.

Weird, the boy who plays "Bad Ronald" was the same boy who played Jodie Foster's little boyfriend in that that movie too!
