Honestly, with everyone wanted to make a buck, I am actually shocked this hasn't already happened (or has it)? I agree though it seems to be a bad idea.

No way any remake can even come close to the original. NO WAY. Some movie remakes are good, but this is not one of them at least IMO.

You cannot nor should not attempt to "remake" a classic. Like that horrible remake of Cheaper By The Dozen...Let's hope they don't ruin the Wizard Of Oz also!
