Against all impossible odds Mothra always survives and thru her/his love and compassion for the Earth and it's peoples what is right and good eventually prevails. She/he is the Queen of the Kaiju in Japanese and firecely defends her/his young when threatened. She/he when angered or injured assumes her/his armored form and can defeat any enemy when her/his inner strength is summoned by her/his friends; she is the only kaiju that has repeatedly defeated Godzilla. She/he is reborn thru her/his children, who also have bested Godzilla. Mothra's various forms have been both male/female.
I know this seems silly to many of you...but she/he is my hero....I actually cry watching her/his trials and tribulations as it reminds me of my life.....my struggles are hers/his and may her/his resolve give my friend Jim the inner strength to heal.
