The 70s were so loaded. The 60s were still alive early on and Led Zep inherited the Beatles crown for awhile. There were the great southern bands like the Allmans and Marshall Tucker. Disco, Punk, Fusion, New Wave. You name it. The Stones still had sooo much to give, as did the Who and Kinks. Van Morrison was unstoppable in the 70s. Neil Young, Bob Seger, Springsteen, Lou Reed and the list goes on and on and on. Anyway - here's one from 1978. Don't know why I enjoy this one as much as I do, but I do. It sounds more 80-ish, but that only means it was a little ahead of its time.

70s era music is my favorite.

As a kid, I remember really liking "Hall and Oates": Rich Girl. they were doing some really great songs back then.

Great choice! I don't know about this song, but "I'm Your Captain" (in same LP) was big with the soldiers in Vietnam, did you know that? So it carries lots of meaning for the "Hippie Era".

Heard a song at a party over this Labor Day weekend that I haven't heard in a while, a long while, and can't get it out of my mind. It's a great, lost song:
