The boys are right behind me with everything ripe and rich from the market! Forgive us coming through the front entrance.. I could not tarry! You know me.. Lady Topaz… I am simply filled with energy! ….
Now to make the whole place rich with the smells of baking !! ::: …dragging Topaz in a semi-run … along the hallway, into the kitchen.. eyes smiling… announce in happy voice::: I just heard the fantastic news! Nephew? In transit??!! Wonderful!!

:: inspiration strikes! … a lovely pyramid of fall apples…Glance at the time while quickly taking the cutest apron from its hook::murmuring to self… so a kuchen, cinnamon rolls with cardamom, of course, a pear tart, sweet potato pie… and our favorite French loaf… that will do for a start… The aroma! The aroma wafting through each and every room! Mmm mmm… enough for everyone in this thread... maybe the whole forum ::big smile::: and visitors alike! just like old times!
::. rushing to wash hands and pull large mixing bowls from cupboard… busily assemble ingredients… yeast set to warm ….
Well I am so so glad Young Master is coming! We all will be glad to be together! Heart to heart in person is wonderful and ratifying, restoring deep feelings among All! ::shakes head in delightful memories:: and oh Gosh .. the music! And Yes! The house will fill with music by the boatload!
:::hushed bubbling of applesauce releases a sweet cloud… happy laugh as workmen noisily arrive on break… large mugs of coffee stirred with cinnamon sticks … first pastries served warm to a chorus of Joyful approval. :: happy to be of use…deftly flip pie shell into pan… rolling out soft yeasty dough… working nimbly with an inner ear listening…
