Here Today
Surprise! Yeah, here I am on Thursday morning. Normally at this time, I'm at work, but not today. Had some nuclear medicine yesterday in preparation for a body scan tomorrow, so I have to keep my keester here at home today. I'm trying to stay cancer-free, so keep your fingers crossed. But no work today means more free time. You'll be seeing a few more posts than normal from me since I have no place to go.
As for what I'll do tomorrow on this site, I'll be around mostly in the morning, but we'll make it work when I am at my station. In the meantime, hope you folks have a wonderful day on this Thursday. Stop by when you can. |

Friday Again - TGIF!
We've arrived at Friday! Hi, there, everybody. Got any weekend plans? I have a few, but first, I'm going to hang out here on the Music forums today before I got some body scans done this afternoon, then I'll be back for a little more music action. Wish me well on my fight against follicular cancer, and thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, none of you will have to go through that. Enjoy your Friday!

Mr. Case! i'm so sorry and this would happened while i've been cloistered
away from the internet hence away from C-D all week!
{ school group projects often demand we spend day & night together to
prepare for major tests & free from outside interruptions. } this week &
next is demanding so i've not been around at all.
this is so worrisome having gone through it with aanother. had i been able,
i would have kept You company Sir, sitting with You and played songs for
You... 
this makes me very very sad that at Your worse i couldn't be here
and couldn't help ease Your mind with funny stories & music.
We Love You Mr. Case... don't worry. You have friends who won't
abandon You...

To clarify, my thyroidectomy was actually last year, shy. What I've been doing is just a follow-up to last year's body scan (which got good results following radioactive iodine treatment). Follicular cancer is the least deadly of all cancers, but it's the most aggressive. One year later, I've taken another pill on Wednesday and I'll be going in around 1 pm today for body scans. It's just to make sure that I have no new cancer forming. I am optimistic.
I'll keep everybody posted, but there's no reason to panic.
