Thanks Magnum Mike.

RIP Randy Rhoads

quoting from youtube--

"Randy Rhoads was a great talented guitarist in the 70's. He was one of the founders of Quiet Riot and Randy did Laughing Gas which was all the music styles he learnt in one song. He learnt Classical and Metal Guitar.

Randy's solos are some of the best ever especially Mr Crowley. Randy sadly died from a plane crash in 1981. After Randy's death, the new guitarist Jake E. Lee, Ozzy and the rest of the band compiled an Album called Tribute which included all of Randy's best songs from Ozzy Osbourne.

Quiet Riot made an album called The Randy Rhoads Years which compiled some of his great songs. R.I.P Randy!

You will always be remembered for your young amazing talent at guitar. His signature models were Les Paul and Flying V." (he forgot suicide solution)

Top 10 Guitar Solos of Randy Rhoads

Top 10 Guitar Solos of Randy Rhoads - YouTube

#10 - Diary of a Madman
#9 - Revelation (Mother Earth)
#8 - Tonight
#7 - Over The Mountain
#6 - Goodbye To Romance
#5 - Flying High Again
#4 - Dee
#3 - Crazy Train
#2 - Laughing Gas
#1 - Mr Crow
Thanks for that tribute Klysm. I don't know if you copied and pasted the text from Youtube.com, but Rhoads was killed in 1982, not 1981. Regardless of the year, altthough his career was relatively short, he will always be remembered as one of the most influencial lead guitarists of our time.

You hear of other rock stars dying from drug overdoses and such, but Randy was never that kind of person, and his loss was indeed a tragedy that did not have to happen. He was killed in a plane crash; the pilot Calhoun Aycock was doing stunts in the Beechcraft Bonanza, with Randy and the band's hair-dresser Rachel Youngblood on board, when the aircraft struck the top of the tour bus, and the plane crashed into the nearby house. It was later revealed that the pilot had traces of cocaine in his system.

Gone, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace Randy.

Default Instrumental Metal, no vocals allowed.

Hopefully this won't be absorbed into the other thread. We'll see.

Because, I'm not realy even INTO metal, per say,
but this non-vocal stuff really blows my hair back. It's the only metal I can listen to

without either being turned off by the vocals or wondering, "What are they even saying?
Hope it's not some satanic foolishness or just mumbled stupidity." Know what I mean?

So I prefer this.

Anyways, Let 'er rip, here's the first two I offer up for your enjoyment:

The harder, faster, weirder, the better!
Thanks for sharing your secrets.

Support good art.
Peace.
