What the hell is this? Man, the Country music channel is getting cool now, check this out.....I cannot believe this video!

Good thing no one is paying attention to the lyrics of country songs, cause this one is nuts!

You HAVE to listen to this..unbelievable..and YES, these are the same gentlemen that had a number 1 hit in 79 with "Let your love flow", the Bellamy Brothers!

I saw Steve E in Austin a few years ago...intense dude...he gave Nashville the finger and never looked back....I think he is still the only country singer to use the "F word" in a song....though Charlie Daniels said "Son of a B* tch" in "Devil went down"....

Both Steve and this one go back and forth depending on who you ask, what is it? IMO, Country with a Rock twist!

You have that right! This kind of Rock is similar to Country, but is still very Rocky. Most of JCM's stuff is in this same style. John comes from a farm family, so the Country is there with a little more throttle. I love this stuff!

Yeah, I agree, for the most part country just ain't my thing. But, it looks as if the industry is starting to change somewhat and isn't being as rigid and "wholesome" as it once was. I know there's a video out from Eric Church called "Smoke A Little Smoke" that seems to be about kickin' back drinkin' and smokin' some weed (he never actually says what it is he's smokin'). And, they finally seem to be letting real musicians cut loose a bit more, especially the guitar players (my thing) like Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Vince Gill.

Mine too. Who ever came up with the idea that the singer must twang the singing parts to death and have a near lifeless beat anyway? Some songs, you just sit there waiting for the "hook" or pick-up of the song and it is not there. It just drags on and on at a nerve-racking slow pace. Then again, I'm a Blues/Rocker and only like songs with some "kick" in them.
