so i'm going to make a tape for a love interest i've had for the past couple years, and i'm at a stopping point where i want the tape to be impressive but i have a slightly different taste in music (though i do highly enjoy the music he likes as well). i want to add his own personal reference of music. as i am adding his favourite songs to the tape as well so far, including those i have only a fair few.

i have,

The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin
Herp Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - This Guys In Love With You
Otis Redding - These Arms Of Mine

& for his favorites i have,

Bob Dylan - Girl From The North Country
Van Morrison - Beside You
Leonard Cohen - Suzanne

also, i would really like to add the most memorable "love" quotes from movies to add between every three songs. so if yo can add those too that'd be fantastic!

Try these . . .

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, "Without Love"
Cream, "Sunshine of Your Love"
Alice Cooper, "You and Me"
Blood, Sweat and Tears, "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know"
The Beach Boys, "Please Let Me Wonder"
James Brown, "Prisoner of Love"
Buffalo Springfield, "Do I Have to Come Right Out and Say It?"
Eric Clapton, "Let it Grow"
Traffic, "Paper Sun"
Manfred Mann, "Pretty Flamingo"
The Beatles, "If I Fell"
Bob Dylan, "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight"
The Dells, "Oh What a Night (1969)"
Otis Redding, "I've Been Loving You Too Long"
David Johansen, "Justine"

As for movie lines . . . well . . .

Love means not every having to say your sorry (From Love Story)

It doesn't matter if the guy is perfect or the girl is perfect, as long as they are perfect for each other. (From Good Will Hunting)

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. (From When Harry Met Sally)

You had me at "hello." (From Jerry Maguire)

You fell in love. That's the only enchantment this cottage has. (From The Enchanted Cottage)

Love won't obey our expectations, its mystery is pure and absolute. (From The Bridges of Madison County)

You're everything I never knew I always wanted. (From Fools Rush In)

Look, I guarantee there'll be tough times. I guarantee that at some time, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you're the only one for me. (From Runaway Bride)

And, it wasn't in a film, but it's the best comment I've ever seen about a man's love for his wife:

I come home to steak every night. Why should I go out for hamburger?---Paul Newman, about Joanne Woodward.

Whistler,

It's going to be hard to beat this, but I'll try to add a few:

Songs:

Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
Roberta Flack - First Time I Saw Your Face
David Bowie - Wild Is The Wind (One of My Favorites)
Best of My Love - Eagles
I'll Be There - The Jackson 5
More Than A Feeling - Boston
Best Of My Love - The Emotions
Endless Love - Dianna Ross/Lionel Richie
Lenny - Stevie Ray Vaughan
You Don't Bring Me Flowers - Barbara Streisand/Neil Diamond

Love quotes:

True love never dies,
It only gets stronger with time....

If you love someone let them go,
If they come back to, there yours,
If they don't, it never was...

LOVE

Do what makes you happy,
Be with who makes you happy,
Be with who makes you smile,
Laugh as much as you breath,
love as long as you live.....

The first time you fall in love....
It changes your life forever...
And no matter how hard you try...
The feelings never go away...

Love is like a fruit in season at all times,
Within the reach of every hand....
