He is an incredibly creative and intelligent man and that will always trump anything for me.....in other words, I'd still go there regardless of what the years have done to the exterior.

I hope I'm not doing overkill by posting one more DD song but this song has always meant a lot to me.

Ok, that's enough obsessing for me.
... overkill is encouraged and nurtured here!

They really are the whole package. Few bands could sound so much like the future while remaining so funky. I was a huge fan as a kid. I'm glad their new album is a return to their 80's roots.

Another wow. Another band I'm in love with. Angus and Julia Stone are an Aussie brother and sister team. They trade off vocals on their newest album. It was hard to choose my favorite. The string section, in this one, is awesome.

Next, beats from a classical trained pianist....so sweetttt! I hope to check this girl out at 'Chelly.
All of her tracks make me want to just chill out in my spa with a nice cocktail.

It was nice being 18 so I could see this in the 18 and older clubs back then. In one club in Hollywood (The Odyssey) girls would get on the go go stands in similar outfits and recreate the scenes to the video. Ah the good ol days!

I've been a pretty keen to the stuff from Menomena. They definitely nod towards classic rock.

What is going on here?

One of my favorite film producers, David Lynch, recently started making electronic music that is being compared to the likes of Trentemoller. Now, I always thought that Trentemoller's music would be well suited to a David Lynch film.

The synchronicity doesn't stop here! No, it gets even better!

Sasha is also one of my favorite DJ's and electronic music producers and, low and behold, he has taken remix duties for this awesome David Lynch track!

Trentemoller and Sasha will be at Coachella! I wonder if Sasha can get away with playing his fantastic remix of this at Coachella?

Color me stoked if he does! I still can't believe I'm typing this all in one title.....
