The answer to your question constantly changes. When I was 11- Michael Jackson, 12- Thompson Twins, 13- Madonna, 14- Bon Jovi. Now at this very moment- MUSE.

My all time favorite song...you're killing me! I have to say Hotel California by the Eagles. Someday I will learn how to play that on the guitar!

Judging from the number of times I have listened to it, I suppose it would be Bobby Caldwell's What you won't do for love and Kool and the Gang's Summer Madness (not a song though, an instrumental).
But this is a bit unfair because there is great more recent stuff that I simply have not had decades to listen to, yet. Jill Scott is probably my favorite artist of the past 10 years.

My all time favorite band would have to be Tool followed closely by The Black Keys.
But my favorite song by a mile is Echoes by Pink Floyd.

(this is as close to the album version as I could find on youtube)

Too many to put "one" as #1. If it has guitars in it, I like it. If not........NEXT!
