Where are the male singers with baritone voices????? Does the industry frown upon not only a masculine look...but upon a more manly sound, too?? Look at it.....Timberlake, Neeyo, Beiber, Trey songz, Chris Brown, Drake......

They all have this high pitched tone.....all of them. There's not one different in the pack.

Listen to those voices.....women swooned to men sounding like men....don't get me wrong. The falsettos of Prince, El Debarge did some damage too. But they weren't the only kind of singer out there! Now there are no singers with the low baritone or bass.....

For good measure.....

Me: hey Jim! Citizen is starving for Baritone Soul... know any?
Jim: ohhh Annn... I was always faithful to you, even in the RV camper with Nina blowing on my neck for sonic boom treatments and when...
Me: JIM!
Jim: huh?
Me: Baritone Soul... know any??? and how did we get to Nina blowing you?

Jim: (blushes) well I couldn't be me could I?? I mean look at me, skin and bones now and I was worse then and I had to be virile and she was making my spine and legs shake and...
Me: okay Jim... so who did you pretend to be back when Nina was blowing you in the RV camper? was he a baritone?
Jim: ( shock look) well heck yeaaa I mean I couldn't be a Timberlake singing back at her especially when Nina hit this one note and you just got to hear this but stop if your leg starts shaking... (he getting out of bed )

Me: ( fold hands in prayer... other guys laughing saying, you would start him on Nina... me exasperated at this point, begs) Jim, Citizen can't hear your Nina... so... Jimmmmmmmm (crash face on table, murmuring incoherently)

Jim (halts in mid-stream)... oh! Citizen!! Tell him I was Corneluis MD of course! That thread was the one that educated me in the direction of..
Me: (hands to Heaven) Thank you God for the short version!!

Only Cornelius, you and his mother knows who he is. I'm not saying there are no singers with deep voices in existance. I'm saying that they seemd to shunned for the girlie Beiber, Chris Brown pitch.

I agree with you on that. I didn't know him, RFSilver (Jim) did and it's a shame that this voice is exile to the outskirts. I also think it's extremely odd that such men, must be found only in a deliberate search for them.

Is it excessive "estrogen synthetic chemical leakage" from plastics given in repeatedly heated baby bottles soon after birth to account for this trend? Of course I'm being facetious, but the trend IS suspect. To that you and I are in complete agreement.

I just thought of two more and I was going to post them separately but found this rare clip of them performing together.
