I make videos for my son's sports team. My youngest is a senior this year and I am working on the basketball season's video. I have done Football and Basketball videos for both my sons for about 6 years, so I have exhausted a lot of songs. I can use songs I have already used, but would like to have a few that I have not used before.
I am looking for suggestions:
I usually do the videos in 3 parts:
1- a dedication to all the seniors on the team, using pics (or videos if I have any) from when they played in little league, middle school, high school, up through their final season. Songs I have used in the past for this section are: Come Sail Away, Hope You Had the Time of Your Life, Tuesdays Gone, (this years, we only have 2 seniors, my son and 1 other guy...they have been playing sports together since they were 5-6 yr old, so I will be using pics from those times too)
2- videos of good plays, offensive and defensive, from all players (if possible). Songs I have used: Life is a Highway, Remember the Name, We are the Champions, Who Let the Dogs Out (our mascot is a bulldog), theme songs from Pro Teams, lots of others I can't remember...
3- Pics or videos of everything related, from parents watching the game, student fan section, coach talking to a player, cheerleaders, action pics of players, etc.
Songs used before: Will You Remember Me, The Graduation Song, Song from Friends, Find Out Who Your Friends Are,
Usually, the whole thing is about 10-15 minutes long. Sometimes I use just parts of a song.
