Music Festivals: favorites, most memorable, local?
Hope I'm not stepping out of line by starting a new thread here, but I haven't seen one immediately visible here on Music Festivals, local ones, your favorites, or, musicians, ones that you enjoy performing at the most.
I'll kick it off with a clip from the Hogbottom music festival held annually down in Fort Mitchell, Alabama. Hogbottom 2011. A Musical and BBQ Benefit for the House of Heroes! Produced by CTVEA Cable TV of East Alabama. EATV 7. Hogbottom footage, in this clip: "Wobble", "She Came From Overseas" & "Crawford Road Crawl" by Will Dockery & Friends Sandy Madaris, Henry Foster Conley, Geno Woolfolk Jr., Doug Conley, Basil Fitzpatrick, Derundo Jenkins & David Schwimmer.
They're having a John Fogerty purge at YouTube, eh?
I've only noticed Farm Aid videos. A bunch have been removed. When you started your thread I started looking. Naturally many of the good ones are gone!

I notice from time-to-time YouTube seems to pick out an artist & jacks all their work, or maybe the record company complains to them... then sooner or later they start drifting back. A new trick now seems to be putting mixed up titles and names on them, to keep them under the radar more.
How many can play a harmonica, sing and guitar at the same time? Neil always can! That's why he is a goodin'!
Yeah, love old NY. Most recently enjoyed the soundtrack he recorded for the movie Deadman, which starred Johnny Depp. Just Young's guitar playing along to the scenes... great instrumental work.

Hey... I saw an instrumental thread here...
Buffalo Springfield turned me onto Neil. Then it was CSNY. His solo stuff is great too. He truly is a talented guy!
