Our theme for today's 3-Fers is music from the Country Gold era, generally stuff from the mid-1920s through the 1980s. I'll continue with an artist who has had a stuttering problem since childhood. No worries, though, as it didn't affect his great singing ability. And he was a pretty good songwriter, too.
This artist's claim to fame happened as a small child, with the recording of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" in 1952. As an adult, she recorded country music and never had a legitimate hit song, not even hitting the country charts. Funny how things go the way they do.
