Default question about mp3 download

i want to get Andy Gibb's obscure and out of print "After Dark" recording (1980) but amazon CD's for this recording run at least $25, even cassettes off amazon for this recording will cost at least $18. imports are between $50 and $150. too much for my budget

amazon offers an mp3 download of this recording for just under $10

i don't think i tunes offers this obscure recording

i have never downloaded music off websites. i'm still stuck in CD's and even cassettes and vinyl. never graduated to mp3's yet

i want to make a CD out of this mp3 download

how would i download the mp3 when i buy it and then how can i transfer it to CD? is this called "burning" a CD?

If your cd player is mp3 compatible then it'll work. Most cd players are not compatible however. What you need is a .wav download instead. If this is not available then you can convert the mp3 to a .wav and burn it to disk. Bear in mind that mp3 does not have the same sound quality as a cd/wav file.
