back in 1990 when i used to listen to NY CD 101.9. they sometimes played a tune that featured a vocalist who sounded like Michael Franks (a bit effeminate sounding) with a lyric of "show me the fastest way to get to your house..."

kind of cute sounding like the tunes on his "Art Of tea" album in 1975

any idea who it was?
