Barry Manilow would fit in with the Michael Buble sound even though Manilow came WAY before Buble was a sparkle in his father's eye. I can't believe he was forgotten in this. Look at his covers CDs like Summer of 78, Manilow Sings Sinatra and The Songs of... series.

Try listening to young crooner James DeFrances. His ballads are reminiscent of Michael Buble and his power songs are reminiscent of Frank Sinatra. He just released Suit and Tie on ITunes and it features a world class 32 pc orchestra and was recorded at Capitol Records. His My Funny Valentine and Time After Time Medley on you tube reminds me of Michael yet his luck Be a Lady reminds me of Frank. You be the judge
