I had to make a thread about this.

My song is "Run by Snow Patrol"

Is the song when a time of my life ended that I didnt want to end and a very good friend of mine moved away and turned back to his life of crime. In a way the old friend I had known was gone. And I wanted the old one back so bad.....because he was the one person in this life who made sense to me. And whatever me and another guy did together didnt matter to me as long as we all hung out.

When I look back to 2009 and 2010 I cry with this song. My friends might have been an ex-drug addict and ex-gangster. But there was never a day where I regretted it hanging with them. I never put myself with the good kids, but not with the bad kids together. My new friends are just super perfect and I feel just distant from them. I feel just lost without my old friends when this song plays....

Take care Andy and Eddy wherever you guys now....

No song has ever made me cry, but this song comes the closest! When I lost my mom in 1994 when I was just 5, this is the first song that reminded me of her.

The DrummerBoy is much, much too testosterone-laden to EVER admit crying to a song.

But, ummmm....for some danged reason, everytime I hear this song somethin' gets in my eyes. Go figure.

The first time I heard this song it was on PBS and I remember sitting on the edge of the bed so engrossed by this song that I hadn't even realized there were tears steaming down my face.

Andrea Bocelli- Con te Partiro - YouTube

This one is second runner up.

City of Angels- I Grieve- Peter Gabriel - YouTube

Lyrics here: Song Lyrics > Love Song For A Vampire

It's about innocent love and premature loss. Aside from the vampire theme, or how this could apply to humans, I think anyone who has ever lost a pet who has given them unconditional love has felt some of what she's singing.

This was part of my wedding ceremony. I'm divorced now. The song doesn't make me cry because of the marriage or divorce, but because it's just so beautiful.

This video was done not long before JC died. It's so haunting and sad, all the 'things' in this life can't take the place of true happiness. It shows his emotions in such a raw way I can't help but feel them alongside him.

Arms of An Angel - Sara McLachlan

Reminds me of when my Mother was dying from cancer in 1999. The song still upsets me.
