From the OP.

"Music from Brazil is absurdly diverse. In Brazil you find genres that are also found in other countries, as well as genres that are peculiar to Brazil.

To show a little of this diversity in this first post, I will share two Brazilian songs of two opposite genres: Bossa Nova and punk rock."

Sure, I didn't say there was no such diversity. All I am saying is that IN MY OPINION that music is crap, it is also crap when it is made in other countries, of course. But in the case of Brazil that music is absurd because it doesn't fit the country and culture. It's like Chinese music in Nigeria.
A typical case of people copying crap from abroad and thinking that makes them cool.

You didn't say "IN MY OPINION."

In my opinion it is good.

What else could it be but my opinion? There are no laws or scientific rules on the taste of music...

When I say, a song or entire genre sucks, it obviously means that I think it sucks. Are you a native speaker of English?

Some people actually think their opinions are gospel and universal. Considering that this is a thread for sharing diversity, what was accomplished by your negativity?

When I hate something as much as that genre, I simply feel better after saying that I hate it.

There is nothing sad about it. I like to applaud good things and criticize bad things. If more people did that instead of pretending everything is equally good, the world would not be such a ****ty place...

Anyway, back to music, and an authentic Brazilian song...

There is a big difference between "bad" and pretending everything is equally good. You are talking personal taste. You don't like a genre but it does not mean there aren't high levels of musicianship and nuance which some of us can differentiate.

I prefer to accentuate the positive and uplift others, not just knock what I don't like.

Hopefully this will counter the hate.
