I also loved what Tina did with Tom Tom Club - it's a shame that ego has gotten in the way of a reunion for TH. David Byrne needs to come back down to earth and give us some more music!
Hmmm, looks like it's from Stop Making Sense. It's been awhile since I've seen it, though. Thanks for that.

David is still giving us more music, actually; just not with the Talking Heads. He even sang opera with Rufus Wainwright on his last solo album. Still, a TH reunion wouldn't be unwelcome, provided there aren't lawsuits involved.

And, when I was little (around three years old) I used to go completely crazy whenever the video for "Genius of Love" came on TV ("It's the video with the dog!"). Loved it.

Oh and before I forget here's some Aussie 80's New Wave masters!

Kids in The Kitchen

YouTube - Kids In The Kitchen - Change In Mood (1983)

YouTube - Kids In The Kitchen - Something That You Said

This video's nothing flash if you're not a Countdown fan but this is my favorite of theirs.

YouTube - Bitter Desire (Countdown Awards 1983)

Real Life

YouTube - Real Life - Send Me An Angel (1983)

The Models (what a band!)

YouTube - Models - I Hear Motion

I'm Talking with the brilliant Cate Ceberano

YouTube - I'm Talking - Trust Me

The Eurogliders all time classic with the brilliant Grace Knight.

YouTube - Eurogliders - Heaven (Must Be There) (1984)

And my all time favorite Pseudo Echo song.

YouTube - Pseudo Echo - A Beat For You

Ok, I'm going to crawl back under my rock now, or perhaps I should go hunt out my leggings and my puffy shirt, find the gel and black eyeliner and play dress ups for a bit!
What a trip!

This one ''Something That You Said'' really is a bad to the bone song as it reminds me of partying at my favorate New Wave club Pier 69 in Florida back then in the New Wave 80's as it was so cool to dance and hang with the 80's ladies with their red, purple and blue hair styles back then.

New Order: "True Faith" - love the choreography and vision

Crowded House: "Don't Say It's Over" - a nicely conceived video of perhaps the most perfectly crafted pop song ever

I used to dye my hair with Gentian Violet and Mercurochrome (I think it's called Merbromin over there?) It's only now I see it was taken off the market because it has mercury in it!!

Yep! Fun times! I even remember seeing Kids In The Kitchen at The Rising Sun Hotel in Richmond I think, way back in the day! Yep good times.

Glad you like em 6/3, they're an awesome bunch of bands and always guaranteed to get the ladies dancing, even now.

Oh! And thanks for Cyndi! One of my all time favorite songs ever and I love that woman! Even had that hairdo at some point!
