I noticed they will be playing smaller halls this summer. Are they still popular or is this a case of the 15 minutes almost over?

Since when do you have to be popular and sellout large arena's in order to be good?

So what says I. I usually shun the big venues in favor of smaller ones. The tickets are more reasonable and the smaller named acts that usually play at these facilities will appreciate you coming to the show more. That has been my experience and I have attended concerts regularly for 40+ years!

As far as this subject, they soldout rather quickly at the venue they are playing at in my area.
LOL on the "15 minutes." They have been around for 16 years which is obviously a lot longer than an average band stays together.

Still quite popular here in alternative circles. Were they ever that popular in more conventional rock music genres? I agree with John in that I also would much rather see a band at a small venue.

Some extremely popular bands sometimes tour in small venues for the intimacy with the audience.

If you like them, that's all that matters. For me, I've never been able to get past the ridiculous name of the band.
