Did you read the study? It's proven that music has gotten louder. Perhaps someone who is familiar with audio recording can explain.

Well a quick spin around the dial the past few days tells me there is a lot of garbage music out there....but then again there always has been a lot of garbage music out there. Yummy, Yummy....Disco Duck...Telephone Man as an example. The loudness may simply be a result of better technology perhaps? With all the new toys to work with in the studio perhaps they are just as passionatearts video suggests, simply muddying the sound. And i will add that autotune should be the bane of the music business...It's not but it should be.
