NEW YORK (AP) — To some, it's a hurtful racial epithet. For Nas, it's an album title.

No worse than NWA; the Black rap group of many years ago.

Now for irony: I know of a White man with the last name of 'N*gg'------he is the principal of a high school here in Arizona.

Here's the hypocrit jackoff Jesse Jackson's thoughts

Quote:
using the 'N' word is morally offensive and socially distasteful. Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honor in it," the Rev. Jesse Jackson said in a news release
.

But heaven forbid a white person (Imus i.e.) do the same and he and his boneheaded buddy are all over the news

So does this mean a white person can't ask for this in a record store? Does this mean a white person can only order this online to be politically correct?

Hmmm, I wonder if he's an alumni from my high school alma mater. A person with that last name was there the four years I attended.

I might be wrong about this but I don't think any of their albums said the word on the cover. All it said was NWA. This will actually say the word.

What Nas himself has to say:

Nas Explains Controversial Album Title - News Story | Music, Celebrity, Artist News | MTV News

I have mixed feelings on this. Nas is one of my favorite rappers and has always been provocative. I understand what he's saying about people prejudging his work and in attempting to remove any potential sting from the word, but I dunno....
