And how many times has this song been recorded through the years? Glen Campbell (featured earlier) did a nice duet with Bobbie Gentry on this, and Tom Jones (who will be coming up soon) also covered the song.
There were other harmonies in music besides Don & Phil. Our featured singer had a nice musical rapport with guitarist Don Rich for a number of years, providing country music with some fine harmony work there.
