While working, I always hated Mondays, as most of us do. What was worse was when it was rainy, not because I hate that weather but because I could have snuggled in bed, listening to the rain~if I didn't have to get up and go to work. Sadly, I had only one job in my lifetime that I enjoyed: Walden's aka Waldenbooks. Even with deaths in the family and severe illnesses, I found some happiness working with books and the people who love them. BTW: I'm definitely a SAD sufferer but opposite to most: I love rainy, snowy, foggy, overcast weather and when it's cool-to-cold. It's too bad that people don't understand when sunny days and warm/hot weather are what "get me down".
It's 10 minutes past Monday, and I'm watching "Vallentino" (1951) on TCM. I am in awe of the star, Anthony Dexter, who is the image of Valentino, so much so that it's eerie watching this. The only thing is that he has no trace of the Italian accent Rudy had; but, that's forgotten only a short time into the film. What a shame that the man did not get many more important lead roles! They should have remade some of Valentino's films starring Dexter!
