So I went to see Tom Petty in 1989 on his "Full Moon Tour." My friend drove and he was, and is, exceedingly punctual so we got there in time for the opening act. I had not heard of him before, but someone said he was married to Lisa Bonet who was on a television daughter of Bill Cosby. So this guy comes out with dreadlocks and blows us away. Name of Lenny Kravitz. He was touring his debut CD, "Let Love Rule." I bought the CD the next day. It remains a Top 5 favorite of mine 29 years later.
