Is this the one?
YOU BELONG TO ME
See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sunrise on a tropic isle
Just remember, darling all the while
You belong to me
See the market place in old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
Just remember when a dream appears
You belong to me
I'll be so lonesome without youo
Maybe you'll be lonesome too
And blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
Just remember 'til you're home again
You belong to me
Maybe you'll be lonesome too
And blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
Just remember 'til you're home again
You belong to me
Maybe you'll be lonesome too
And blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
Just remember 'til you're home again
You belong to me
Lots of people covered it. Dean Martin had a version, maybe he is your male?

At least I know the name of it, great!
Apparently, yeah, a ton of people covered it... now I have to find the one I was thinking of.
Not seeing any for Bing Crosby. Dean Martin is a possibility. Someone suggested Michael Buble too, I'm gonna youtube'em and try to find out.
so many quick responses, you guys are great!

The most popular versions were those by Jo Stafford and The Duprees.
