Know what you're talking about before you start insulting communists.~

Communism is a structure of government that eliminates the need for economic classes, money, and states, basically everyone gets a share of everything.~

Unfortunately achieving true communism among a large population like a country seems to fail.~

Countries who claim they are trying to achieve communism often get stuck somewhere along the way and it just doesn't work out.~

Also because of the popularity of the idealism behind communism, some countries will claim to be "communist" or that "it is their goal", when they are really just lying to fool the public while they obtain or maintain full control of everything by either the government itself or a few elite in power.~

Now I do like some 'country' music but for the most part it's just like where it comes from, i.e. down home, regular life, love won, love lost, God and country. and last but not least conservative. Rock'n'roll I think has changed but for the most part 'country' hasn't. Arguably it's usually the same old , same old stuff though the years. That's what you get with 'country' music. No innovation really. But it looks like it doesn't bother people much none. Everybody still eats it up. I guess it's 'got the beat and you can dance to it'...;-)..
Not all who live in the "country" as "country folk" have ever even heard of "God" or what ever you want to call it and some are no more conservative that a hippie liberal on acid.~

I like country but the problem is for me, MANY songs are grown men crying in their beers because their girls left them. Seriously, there's a lot of heartbreak in country. That or a lot of let's have a BBQ and a bonfire and let's drink beer.

HOWEVER, I must say acts like Alabama, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Johnny Cash, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Billy Ray Cyrus and Uncle Kracker are much more than that. This is why I like them vs say Willie Nelson.

I grew up listening to a LOT of country thanks to my parents who were into Alabama and we lived on Long Island but we camped and my parents had a few RVs over the years.

I don't have a problem with the extremes on both sides of the country music genre when it comes to politics. At least it isn't mostly left like rock is. I can't think of many right wing traditional rock groups.

Yes, I can see that's true but it's also kind of like the US itself where we got communists, anarchists, Marxists, neocons, etc etc etc hanging around here and there but in the main the US is generally in for God, country and non-lefty!...;-)....

I wasn't much of a music person growing up but I went through a country music phase when I was 15-17 because my best friend was a fan and lived on a ranch with horses and all that stuff. Outside of that environment I didn't bother and I realized I liked other types of music better. No hate for country but like someone said, part of it is the "twang" (like nails on a chalkboard for me) and part is I enjoy other stuff.

There is music I listen to, and music I don't listen to. There is no hate involved.

You make it sound like such a thing never really happens. It is what my most favorite song from my most favorite singer James Otto is about, but not all of his songs are about it. This one here is a song that everyone can relate to.

God bless you and him always!!!

Holly

I am not denying that there are good country artists out there. I like some but for a large majority, it is the grown men crying in their beers cause their woman left them stereotype. That and much like the problem with many genres, there is little difference from listening to one artist to the next. Many just share the same sound and don't try to really be something different and be something different. It could be an A&R issue like with hair bands in the 1980's or pop punk through now.
