I personally prefer Don Henley's voice more than Glenn Frey, I always felt he was the better singer of the two.

I wasn't a big fan of Glenn's solo work but I always liked this song a lot.

Oh yeah, me too....Glenn shines best in the whole band. That song is a great one though.

i always thought Glenn's 1982 solo debut was kind of fun. there was a song on there"All Those Lies" which was like a bluesy soundalike of Dirty Laundry and Life In The Fast Lane

They're both great. No doubt the close harmony singing of Glen and Don was fantastic - just listen to them on Randy Newman's "Rider in the rain". It is the best thing about the song - the understated harmony humming on the outro alone is gorgeous. JD Souther is in there too.
