I was at their farewell concert at the Royal Albert hall in 1968. And I was in Hyde park to watch Clapton's new band Blind Faith featuring Steve Windwood etc in 1969. They were great times.
IMO 'We're Going Wrong' is a tremendously underrated song and one of their heaviest. How could this not be the beginnings of heavy metal music? Turn up the volume, slow the tempo down, listen closely and judge for yourself.

I certainly do! While we had our problems with the war, race-riots and other social issues, musically, the late '60s/early '70s was a FANTASTIC! time to grow up, or at least ripen with age.
