This is the 70's New Wave song by Blondie that forever changed me from a 70's Cheech and Chong 70'S Hard Rocker to an 80's New Waver when i was a teenager. Thankyou babygirl .

Hey nothing wrong with reviving a 2 year old post as long as it has to do with Blondie. Myself and 6/3 may be Harry's biggest fan.

About 2 years ago I saw Blondie and The Cars during the Road Rage tour when Todd Rundgren redid Rick Ocaseks vocals and Ben Orr continued where he left off. Blondie was still good ol Debbie Harry sharing with us her greatest hits.....and there were many.

But let me say Debbie Harry came out in a stunning tight red dress looking every bit of her 21 years old despite her about to be 64 this year. If you hid her still young looking face she still has the body of a Playboy Bunny in Hefners mansion. Did you know Harry was a Playboy Bunny before she ever started singing? At 64 YO she lost an octave in her voice but compensated like the pro she is. No one in the audience gave a damn as long as she kept on singing.

I love it all but my personal favorite is a strange one. Despite hating disco in the day I love "Atomic" which did have a discoy feel and sound. But I dont hold it against her. Every rock artist was experimenting with disco in the day including Mick Jagger and the like.

Oh where did the music go?

I love Blondie's The Tide is High. In this video it showed she's not really blonde. LOL!

LOL.......Isn't that the truth .

I myself just can't believe that in less than 6 years she'll be 70 as she is what turned me onto New Wave and it being my favorite Genri ever. I mean Debbie Harry is to New Wave what Curt Colbain (cough) is to Grunge IMO.

She's looking New Wave in this 70's song . Yes i luv her !!
