Mikael Akerfeldt gives more in Ghost of Perdition than most bands do in their entire careers.
It's not that new stuff lacks soul... It's just different because everything is crystal clear now. In some Hendrix tracks, you can actually hear him clearing his throat before he sings lol... That's what I mean by soulful... More came through the tracks back then.
What about bands that are current, but sound like they came out of the 70s? Haha... That might be a whole different convo, but check this out... One of my favorites!
Who listens to what Gene Simmons says anyway?
I think he´s been dead since 1983.
That's what I can't understand. Why would anyone care about what he has to say about rock music. His music is awful. I really can't think of a worse band than Kiss in the history of rock music.
