It should have been Alabama Shakes, but we lost the tickets. It's the very first time we ever did such a thing. I guess not meant to be, but still a crying shame!

I went to a Silk/Keith Sweat/New Edition concert in 2004 when I was 19 years old. Happened at the Gibson Ampitheatre.

Had a slight case of laryngitis that night after screaming with glee.

Duran Duran & Chic. Excellent concert. I don't know much Duran Duran, other than their big hits, but they put on a great show. And Chic (or "Chic featuring Nile Rogers" since Nile is the only original member) were unbelievable. Such a deep well of timeless classics.

Ghost. In October on the day of our city's ZombieCrawl. Ghost are a really great band to see live. Their clothing and image is pretty cool and they sound as good if not better live then on the album.

Just saw Daughter a few weeks ago, was really good. Seeing four shows next week (M. Ward, Local H, Super Furry Animals and Brian Jonestown Massacre).

Its been a long time since I had been to a concert. Last time was way back in 1993 when I had attended Lollapalooza in West Virginia. I remember seeing Dinosaur JR and Alice in Chains. Both were good but the thing I can remember the most looking back was the amount of young people I had seen at the show smoking cigars. I thought that was odd at the time. Oh I had won tickets to see the show from a radio station that played country music !!!
