ZZ Top probably holds the record, but they definitely aren't the only American band to have been together with the same lineup for 30 years or more.

Aerosmith's original lineup fell apart for a little while, but they've been back together since 1984, which was 31 years ago.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse (Neil's Canadian, but as an entity, NY & CH is an American band) have been the same lineup since 1975.

I agree (and the same could be said of ZZ Top), but that is completely irrelevant to how long they've been together as a band.

That's really amazing in this day and age. I still remember seeing them back in 1983 when I was a junior in high school on the Eliminator tour, really amazing show. Those guys can really play. Congrats to them!
