This one was difficult, but I voted 'Who can it be Now.'

I went with J.Geils, simply because I hate the name John Cougar almost as much as John Mellencamp does.

Abracadabra was my choice but the Human League was a close second and an honorable mention to Vangelis Papathanassiou.

The Asia album was the best full album of that year.

Lots of good songs on that list but I would choose Abracadabra.

Many good ones on this list. 1982 was a great music year. I forget who I voted for a few months back.

A very hit and miss year for #1 singles but a great year for Top 10 singles, I've always hated "Ebony And Ivory" with a passion and I'm totally burnt out on hearing "Jack And Diane" all the time.

My vote for the best #1 singles of that year are

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts' "I Love Rock 'N Roll"
Human League's "Don't You Want Me"
Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That"
Survivor's "Eye Of The Tiger"
Men At Work's "Who Can It Be Now"
