Question Is the "What song you're listening to right now" thread, too long?

The "What song are you listening to right now" is pushing 600 posts. Do ya'll want it left that way (posterity), or would you like it closed and a new one started (easier to scroll through)?
Thanks.

I say keep it open indefinitely. Even though the thread has become unmanageable in the sense that no reasonable person would read it from beginning to end if they just now happened upon it, it still serves a purpose. It has become a "let's us regulars to this thread keep updating each other on what we're listening to because it gives us ideas, stirs up memories and starts conversations" kind of thing. Even so, it still hasn't lost its usefulness to newcomers; they can still join on the tail end of it and become part of the ideas/memories/conversations aspect of it. IIRC, I personally didn't join the thread until it was already 20- to 30-something pages long. If you close it and start a new one, the same thing is gonna happen all over again, so what's the use?
