Default Tom Petty, Best Halftime Show Ever?

Truly amazing tonight. Great stuff.

Any opinions?

If you haven't heard the Echo album, go nab it. Great album. Severely underrated.

No way. Prince's halftime show last year was the best I've seen in a long long time. And I'm in no way a Prince fan.

I'm glad they are doing these "one man" shows is recent years. (Tom Petty, Prince, Paul McCartney, Bono ect; )That Aerosmith and Britney show was the worst (and I like Aerosmith to)

I really wasn't impressed with the halftime show. Then again, I'm not a Tom Petty fan...

It just seemed really boring - and I'm happier with the flashy half-time stuff.

I have to agree. I am not a Prince fan either, but that show was amazing. I thought for sure he would be a primadonna because the pouring rain, but he was OVER THE TOP professional and I have watched the tape of that performance numerous times. I always get the feeling I'm watching something very special.

Tom Petty, is seemed just too safe and too ordinary for my taste.

My big disappointment was the year before....Bob Seger should have performed at half-time in Detroit.
