I saw him twice in concert. At once concert he came out & did some guitar riffs that were something of another world.

Which years/tours? Wish I could've seen a P&TR concert.

The man had some serious style on stage. He is one of the FEW people I have shed a tear for he & his music will be missed.
So glad this clip is available .... I'm not sure many people think of Prince and automatically think of what he could do with the guitar.

I can't remember what tour because we just happen to be at the fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. Lenny Kravitz was there too. I believe that one was in 99. I've always like him as well. I saw him again in Long Beach in 85. Another damn good concert. I wanted to see him once more & now I'll never get to. My wife liked him as well now she'll never get to see him.

I should add this. When I said Prince had class I didn't just mean on stage but off stage as well. I can't remember him being in the press & doing anything stupid he seemed to keep to himself for the most part. He didn't try be anything but who he was I think that's one thing that impressed me the most about him.

one of my favorite prince songs, if not my absolute favorite of his, is nothing compares 2 u. (i have to write it like he liked to writes song titles...with numbers and single letters ) but i liked sinead o'connor singing it better than his own version. i know he wrote it and she sang it and i'm not a fan of hers. but i think her singing that song is just so beautiful. it's one of my favorite songs by anybody.

I've been trying to get a copy of Prince's song "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World." I sing the chorus to my daughter on occasion, and would like her to hear the original... Oy, talk about hard to get... Nothing on iTunes, or Amazon.

It's on the Gold Experience album which is very hard to find (thank god I have it). The is song is now posted on Youtube for your hearing pleasure. He wrote that song for his second wife.

I saw the Musicology tour when it came here to Pittsburgh. Second best show I ever saw (first being Bruce's "The River" tour at MSG in 1981). The man put on a show and was amazingly talented.

And we got the CD for free with ticket purchase.
