The added note in the second clip sounds to me like McCartney & Wings Band On The Run title track. Unfortunately the drums do not. So that's really not a guess. Just sayin'.
Edit: I meant to say Jet

Howard has used the same group twice, but I didn't think he'd use the same song twice. lol
If memory serves correctly, I believe he used the same song 3 times in a row once. I can't remember off-hand which one it was, but I'm pretty sure I could find it if I took the time.
It's fascinating to ponder how the mind works - or not - at different times or circumstances.
I listened to that original drum clip a bunch of times and it was about like trying to start a car with the distributor cap removed*. Nothing. Then, with the added audio, again several times and still nothing clicked. Went back to it again late yesterday afternoon for another try and this time my engine had a spark. There it was - and all I had to do was listen to the whole song again to confirm.
Sometimes the neurons flow and connect and sometimes they don't. And the whys and wherefores of that seem well beyond our control. Fascinating.
* We are mostly old-timers here right? For the young set......
I thought the 3 clues I posted would have helped:
1. fresh memory = recent
2. cry = tears
3. sweat = part of the name of the group
------------
I'll try to move to a more popular tune next.
