I know this sound and will know this song, once identified. My hunch is that it is a song that never mattered....a song that begs the question why even record it? A song that I thus never listened to unless it was on somewhere in the background. But at least, whatever it is, I'm confident that it's not as bad as My Sharona or Ma Belle Amie.
Kind of a noisy listening environment at my house today. I thought I might have heard a strain from The Brooklyn Bridge's Worst That Could Happen -- but -- that's not even close! So, back to the ol' drawing board for me.
We always find out which songs Crown never liked or would prompt the radio to be turned off.
He'll just have to suffer through this one. I never let a song cause me to turn it off, just ignore it until the next one came on.
square: Brooklyn Bridge is one of my favorite groups. As far as 213 I will add audio at a later time. I think extra audio should be the way they are solved and unfortunately only those who are watching at the time will likely solve them.
Before adding more audio I'll throw out an association clue:
Frankie Avalon and you would need to guess the meaning of the word association as it relates.
It's a "think" clue.

Not suffering 'cause I don't even know what it is yet. And if my hunch is right, I guarantee I won't suffer listening to the whole song again.
I can't even conceive of being a music lover and not irritated by the sound of "musical" stupidity. Yeah, yeah, all in the ears and mind of the beholder and all that.
I hope others have more luck with this version than I did....this one put me in reverse. Whereas before I felt sure I knew the song, this new bit doesn't sound familiar at all and is not what I expected.
I have a feeling this one is going to be the "Oh, yeah - of course" type. That sounds like a key change happening.
