I was sitting here wrackin' my brain, knowing it sounded like something I've heard, but having no idea or focus beyond that. I doubt I would have gotten any further without a clue.
No wonder you keep breakin' records! And with songs released before you were born....WOW!!
Well, guess I got this one right as Howard has not given me a thumbs down in a timely manner like he would if I bombed out, lol. I like the Four Tops, they were just getting started with Need Your Lovin' back in '64. Of their older stuff, think I like Reach Out I'll Be There, from '66, as their best tune, it went #1 too. Ain't No Woman Like The One I Got, was also pretty good from '74, and Burnadette. Also liked the very last big hit they had in '81, they were able to change it up just enough to crank out hits for 20 years, a pretty grand accomplishment for any group.

Bernadette is probably my favorite from The Four Tops, closely followed by Baby I Need Your Loving. It would have been a number 1 in many other years, but they were only in head-to-head competition with some of the biggest hits of all time....like Pretty Woman, Do-Wah-Diddy, and Where Did Our Love Go. But they excelled in an ocean of excellence.
So much talent in so many black artists back in the day....back in the greatest era. By the starkest contrast, today is a tragedy that can't be forgotten soon enough.
Well, Howard, you might want to go ahead and throw a party for me, because....
That clip is from this song. It's My Party - Lesley Gore
And, no, I don't need to cry if I want to.
And you did give the others 1 hour and 2 minutes and none came forward.
Man, that's one bummer of an album.
These are the first seven tracks --
It's My Party (And I'll Cry If I want To)
Cry Me A River
Cry
Just Let Me Cry
Cry and You Cry Alone
No More Tears (Left To Cry)
Judy's Turn To Cry
Therefore the next one will be for you!
