Well, maybe I can sneak one in. Not sure where that organ riff came from, but the first part of that clip sure sounds like this one:

That is correct.

Well I thought the second one was the easiest. Maybe square peg can identify it.

I thought so, too, but what would I know. It's the only one I've recognized in the last 5.

Well, we got the first one, but I know the second one....

That organ riff came from the beginning of this song:

Cry Like A Baby - Box Tops

And, in case you missed it, jiminnm replied with the first selection:

Big Girls Don't Cry - Frankie Valli / Four Seasons

Great drum arrangement.

As usual I'm late to the party. The Box Tops tune Cry Like A Baby I knew right off the bat. One of a handful of songs from the late 60s utilizing a Danelectro electric sitar. Joe South's Games People Play was another. Something tells me BJ Thomas had a hit with one too.

Nice work, yous guys!

Case & Jim gobbled up Howard's 2-fer like a couple of hungry jackals......well done! I'm glad because that second one with the organ would have tortured me, sounded so familiar. I was thinking late 60's Easy To Be Hard, or Midnight Confessions, and a blur of other tunes, but Case nailed it. Thanks Case, for letting my span of torture be short, lol. I was clueless on the first one, drums are hard for me to pin down. Square Peg, I had to laugh a little at your song list for the It's My Party album, she was the original Debbie Downer, lol. I did recognize one other song from that list, Judy's Turn To Cry, but none of the others without listening to them all, which I promise you will never happen. Anyways, she got rich from her tears, so it worked out good for her.

No I did not miss jiminm's correct solving. I posted those hoping square peg would see them since the word "cry" dominated a previous post by him as far as L. Gore's album.
