Here's a new one from before 1970.

Yes Walter and I might have to give two audio clues.
One easy one for the universe and a harder one for you.

8 seconds is all you get. (May need to go down to 1.5 to 2 seconds like Chad)

Yes Sugar Sugar.

As you may know Ron Dante was the lead vocal on Sugar Sugar and other songs.
Ron Dante would dub his own voice to be background vocals. An example is Tracy by The Cuff Links. It's not the Cuff Links, it's Ron Dante.

Ron Dante's lead vocals were accompanied by those of Toni Wine (who sang the line "I'm gonna make your life so sweet"), and Andy Kim. Together they provided the voices of the Archies using multitracking.

The Cuff Links were an American rock/pop studio group from Staten Island, New York. The band had a U.S. No. 9 hit in 1969[1] with "Tracy", with rich harmonized vocals provided entirely by Ron Dante. The track was produced as part of a series of recording sessions – sometimes as many as six in a day – by Dante, with the songs released under a variety of band names.

Tight one here cut only about 1/2 second before the vocals.
