Name The Tune

Ideally it would be nice to solve the first one that has not already been solved.

Here is an easy one to get started.

Maybe it's 99% do not want to play the game Name That Tune.

And the other 1% do not know the answer. (??)

I'll go ahead and give clue #2.

Clue #1 was the give it away audio clue.

Clue #2 is 1963.

If you 1950's to 70's die hard fans can not get it after clue #3 well, turn in your oldie goldie hat.

Those who might want to play I can give you instructions on how to post a short audio. It looked and sounded hard but turned out fairly easy. It does take some effort to get the audio and leave the video totally black.

Sounds like a snippet of The Trashmen's "Surfin' Bird", from Full Metal Jacket.

I haven't heard that one since I was really young; it got played a lot on the radio for my summer camp counselor, who had a girlfriend who shared the song's title. I knew the title as "Tracy", had to look up the artist, The Cufflinks.

Send me a DM so I can figure out the ins and outs of creating a snippet like that.

That came out around September of '69--Decca label. They over pressed the quantity to the point of whenever I would shop the discount stores like K-Mart, Woolworth's, Giibsons etc., you would see lots of them. I have the lp- good looking gal on the cover>>>>zowie!

I finally got the kinks (not The Kinks) out of the process.

The #1 clue will always be 1950's to 1970's.

Clue #2 on a new one.
