You audio wizards are wizards to create them and to solve them.
Well, I think you have a pretty good thread going with your puzzles, Howard. You manage to fool me with many of your puzzles, by picking some obscure songs from the 60's that are not easy pickings. There is no middle ground with your puzzles, they are super easy or very difficult, and you don't give away lyrics. I liked your Sea Cruise one.

Chadgates got about half of my last puzzle, would like to see Unfocused or somebody jump in and give it a try before I post answer key for Puzzle of Lost Souls.

Here's a new puzzle, look for hidden code in the last 4 songs. The last song will be very hard I think.

I think giving lyrics invites a google search.
Audio only does not unless..........
95% + of mine will be before 1980.

I never heard of Frankie Ford's death late last year. RIP

Ok, I'll try this out. Creating one of these takes a lot more time than I thought.

You did pretty well on Lost Souls, unfocused, 13 of 20. You had the correct title for #9, but no artist so that one was counted incorrect. Really surprised you got #3, that was very tough, you have a sharp ear. I can see that you & Chad have a slight disco disability for not getting #10, which I thought was very recognizable (and good) disco song. I guess with #20, my geographical location makes this one easy to spot, compared to your average outlander, whom may not even care about the winner of world series last year, and the awesomeness involved with that city.

Here's the answer key for Puzzle of Lost Souls,

Spoiler
1) Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box
2) Collective Soul - Spit Me Out
3) Billy Preston - Outta Space
4) Sam The Sham - Wooly Bully
5) Crosby Stills Nash - Ohio
6) Arthur Brown - Fire
7) Kim Wilde - Kids In America
8) KC & Sunshine Band - That's The Way
9) Barrett Strong - Money
10) Hot Chocolate - Everyone's a winner
11) Rush - Ghost of a chance
12) Cheap Trick - Dream Police
13) The Cars - Heartbeat City
14) Molly Hatchet - Flirtin with Disaster
15) Autograph - Turn Up The Radio
16) Don Henley - Dirty Laundry
17) George Thorogood - Get A Haircut
18) Alive & Kicking - Tighter & Tighter
19) Walter Egan - Magnet & Steel
20) Wilbert Harrison - Kansas City

About the recent Little Puzzle on the Prairie, note.....
Songs 3 and 4 seem to blend together, but they are 2 different songs. #20 is by a well known artist with long career, released in 1992 and was the highest charting song on that album.

#13 is more of a novelty song, very popular for a short time in the early 90's.
#16 should be in one of Chad's recent polls, but has not been mentioned.
#18 is a very old rock 'n roll song, clue word "daylight" comes after the word "broad".

***********************

EDIT.........nice puzzle unfocused, thanks for putting in the work in on that, they get easier to make after the first few,

my answers to riffraff puzzle, I don't know my metal as well as I should.

Spoiler
1) Sniff 'n The Tears - Driver Seat
2) ?
3) Eddie Money - Shakin
4) Lou Gramm - Midnight Blue
5) U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name
6) ? kinda know this
7) Boston - Don't Look Back
8) Yardbirds - Heart Full of Soul
9) Fine Young Canibals - Drives Me Crazy
10) Badfinger - Baby Blue
11) Smash Mouth - Walking on the Sun
12) ?
13) ?
14) ?
15) ?
16) Pink Floyd - Run Like Hell
17) Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
18) Metalica - Enter Sandman
19) Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
20) The Cars - Moving in Stereo

Well, too late to edit my last post, but wanted to correct my answer to #20 in the RiffRaff puzzle,

Spoiler
20) The Cars - Bye Bye Love (the song before Moving In Stereo on that album)
also, feeling like I might have the wrong Metalica Song for #18, perhaps "Wherever I May Roam" but I'll stick with Sandman for now. This was a hard puzzle and shows my weakness on 90's songs.

clue for #3 on Little Puzzle on the Prairie, every acid head hippie from the 60's should know this "elephant" lick from a rather long song. Also, another clue for #20....he was a member for a while in a band listed in the Lost Souls puzzle (the one with the incomplete band name).

I might know 1-2-3 of those.
The people who find these video on Youtube must think we're crazy.
Like yours above. Jane Doe finds it but not through CD, listens and says what kind of song is that?
